From concept to completion, we handle every detail — space planning, sourcing, ordering, project management, and final styling — so you can enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience. Whether it’s a single room or a whole home, Peggy brings a designer’s eye and a personalized touch to make your space feel elevated, layered, and livable.
VIRTUAL DESIGN / E-DESIGN (NATIONWIDE)
Great design, made simple. Virtual design provides a thoughtfully designed space that reflects your unique style — without the commitment of full-service. We create a custom design plan with furniture, décor, and layout recommendations tailored to your space, budget, and lifestyle. Whether you’re starting from scratch or need help pulling it all together, you’ll receive everything you need to confidently bring the vision to life — on your own timeline. Designing a home you'll love to do life in has never been easier.
PHI charges a flat fee per room, with optional add-on services (i.e. CAD drawings, procurement). Costs vary depending on the type of room (i.e. kitchen vs. living room) and the extent of design (décor only vs. full room). The prices range from $675 - $3,000 per room. We also require a $500-$1,000 (refundable) furniture/décor retainer. When you contact us about a project, we will send you the full price list and more details.
The Full Service Design pricing follows the same flat fee per room as Virtual Design during the Design Phase. Blueprint Review, Procurement, and Project Administration are billed hourly.
The process usually takes 2-4 weeks per room (once a spot is available), and includes:
- Inquire / Join Waiting List and start a Pinterest board!
- Submit Payment, Measurements, & Online Surveys
- Phone / Video Kick-Off Call (30-45 minutes)
- Design Board Review & Feedback (2 revisions are complimentary)
- Design Package Delivery (includes a 2D and 3D floor plan/furniture layout, shopping list, final design boards, and install guides). CAD drawings / elevations are an add-on option (charged hourly).
The process for Full-Service takes several months to a year+, and includes blueprint review, material selection, furniture and decor sourcing, procurement, project oversight, and installation.
Virtual Design / E-Design is for those who need help with an overall vision and sourcing, but can execute the project themselves (purchasing and installation). PHI charges a flat fee to do all the sourcing for you, and you decide what you want to invest in on your timeline. It's easy, fun, personalized to your style and budget, and all done via our interactive design software + e-mail / video / phone!

Questions
Usually a mix of both, depending on budget. When the budget permits, we source trade items from top-tier furniture manufacturers. Clients can conveniently purchase trade pieces through our exclusive designer platform, PHI Home (powered by SideDoor). We take pride in granting our clients access to the finest designer furnishings, along with a streamlined one-click checkout process. In order to maximize client savings, some trade items may be invoiced directly by PHI for purchase. Shopping trade product and via PHI Home allows us to provide you with reduced design fees, a transparent fixed fee structure, and a seamless design and purchasing experience.
No, unless contracted for Full Service, Peggy will only communicate with you. Changing kitchen, laundry, or bath layouts is not included in our scope of fees. If a new layout or cabinetry is required, we can use the plans provided by your architect and/or selected cabinetry maker. We are happy to assist with vision and advise on layout options. PHI will provide suggestions for all hard finishes, cabinetry colors, plumbing & lighting fixtures, flooring, and more, but recommends seeing all the hard finish selections in person at local showrooms or ordering samples. CAD elevations are a highly recommended add-on option for kitchens and bathrooms (charged hourly).
In order to keep an affordable pricing structure for e-design, PHI does not do any purchasing for you*, with the exception of select trade product. Interior designer discounts with most major retailers range from 10-25% off (regular priced items only). This level of discount is available to the public by signing up for emails, or by waiting for a sale.
Trade items are never above the internet minimum advertised price ("IMAP"), plus shipping and sales tax. We gladly offer at least 10% off IMAP/retail prices, before shipping, to our clients on all PHI Home and trade items, some exclusions may apply. *Procurement services are available as an additional hourly charge.
