For Virtual Design and Full-Service Furnishings, PHI charges a flat fee per room, with optional add-on services (i.e. CAD drawings and realistic renderings). Costs vary depending on the type of room (i.e. kitchen vs. living room) and the extent of design and service. Per room pricing starts at $1,250. We also require a $500-$1,000 (refundable) furniture/décor retainer (per room). When you contact us about a project, we will send you the full price list and more details.
The Full-Service Construction Design Phase is billed a flat rate based on your project's scope, plus furniture retainers. Blueprint Review, Technical Drawings, Materials Procurement, and Project Administration are billed hourly. For remodels and new construction Full-Service projects, we have a furniture budget minimum.

WHAT IS YOUR PRICING STRUCTURE?
The Virtual Design process typically spans 2-4 months (scope dependent). You’ll join the waitlist and start a Pinterest board, then submit measurements, style surveys, and questionnaires. We’ll kick things off with a phone/video call before I present design boards with one complimentary revision. Your final package includes design boards, a 2D/3D floor plan, and clear install guides. Optional CAD drawings/renderings are available hourly. We also handle procurement — including quotes, invoicing, tracking, delivery coordination, and damage resolution.
Full-Service Furnishings & Décor adds more custom sourcing, showroom visits for sit-testing, end-to-end procurement, and final styling.
Full-Service Construction / Renovation spans several months to a year+ and includes everything in Furnishings plus the construction layer: blueprint review, material/finish selection, detailed spec/finish schedules (tile, plumbing, lighting, hardware, paint), coordination with your GC/architect, site meetings, and punch-list support.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS AND TIMELINE for your services?
Virtual Design is a flat-fee, online service where we design your space and handle ordering — you handle install. You’ll get design boards, a space plan, finalized selections, and clear install notes. Simple milestones keep everything moving.
Full-Service goes further: along with design and procurement, we manage drawings as needed, custom sourcing, showroom visits for sit-testing and fabric selection, and final styling. For construction projects, we also provide Construction Administration to protect design intent — think pre-construction walk-throughs, spec/finish schedules, coordination with your GC and trades, site visits, and punch-list support. I’m not the general contractor, but I am your design advocate from demo to reveal.

can you compare virtual design vs. full service?
Questions
We primarily source from high-end trade vendors — furniture, lighting, and decor lines available to interior designers. These pieces offer superior craftsmanship, customization options, and elevated design that’s simply not available through mass retail. When appropriate, we may also incorporate select retail items to meet project needs or lead times.
From visiting trade shows and private showrooms to collaborating with an amazing team of sales representatives, we’re constantly curating sources that meet our standards for quality, style, and reliability.
All trade furnishings and decor are purchased through PHI and invoiced directly. Our pricing is at or below list/MSRP,
Sourcing through the trade not only gives your home a more tailored, collected feel, it also enables us to offer a more curated, full-service experience from concept to install.
do you source retail or trade?
Unless contracted for Full-Service, Peggy communicates directly with the homeowner only. For kitchen, bath, or laundry design where a new layout or cabinetry is needed, we’re happy to work from plans provided by your architect, builder, or cabinetry vendor. We can support the overall vision, offer layout guidance, and recommend trusted local and online cabinetry resources.
PHI provides recommendations for all hard finishes, lighting and plumbing fixtures, cabinetry colors, hardware, furniture, and more. For virtual design clients, we recommend viewing hard finishes in person at local showrooms, slab yards, or by ordering samples online—and consulting your contractor before purchasing or installing.
If hired for Full-Service design, Peggy is more directly involved in selecting and sourcing hard finishes including cabinetry, and will collaborate closely with your contractor or builder throughout the process.
DO YOU WORK WITH CONTRACTORS or ARCHITECTS for custom e-designs?
For our Virtual Design clients, retail items can be purchased directly by you, or we can manage the ordering process and may extend a discount at our discretion for select retail items.
All trade items are purchased directly through PHI, regardless of service level. Trade pricing is always at or below list/MSRP, and we’re proud to offer clients access to designer furnishings — often at 10% or more off list price, before shipping and tax.
For Full-Service Design clients, we handle the purchasing of all items, both trade and retail. Pricing for trade furnishings & decor includes full-service procurement, which covers everything from order placement and tracking to delivery coordination, damage resolution, and a seamless final installation. Construction material and retail furnishings & decor procurement are billed hourly, with some savings on MSRP available.
